ArtWORK: Sculpting a Brighter Future - A Zine from AKGWU

As a unique, diverse, and greatly expanded staff, it comes as no surprise that the work we do in support of the AKG is just one of many passion projects for our creative and multi-talented colleagues. This inaugural issue of artWORK was inspired by our love for our institution and a desire to celebrate each other's explorations of art, craft, and text—all interspersed with games, industry-related humor, glimpses into team members' lives, and pertinent information regarding our ongoing efforts to form a union of workers at the Buffalo AK Art Museum.

It is our intention to produce regular issues of artWORK for our colleagues to enjoy and freely contribute to. We enthusiastically invite all members of Team AKG, regardless of your department, position, or union eligibility, to share your creations and ideas for content to be printed in subsequent issues of artWORK.
